The City of Republic contains ample and desirable opportunity for business parks for both general commercial and industrial purposes. The over $12 million investment in infrastructure expansions into the recently consolidated areas in the northeast part of the City has facilitated the growth of some already successful and developing business parks. Each of these parks is briefly described below. Brookline Business Park
The Brookline Business Park is a commercial/industrial subdivision located along State Highway MM between two major interchanges with the James River Freeway and Interstate 44. The first phase of the subdivision has been platted with ten lots with availability in the General Commercial, Light Industrial, and Heavy Industrial zoning districts.
Drury University Site
Drury University owns approximately 120 acres of real estate located within the Light Industrial zoning district. This site’s location and access to infrastructure facilities makes it a prime location for business park activity. Located less than ½ mile south of the interchange of James River Freeway and State Highway MM, this site presents a multitude of development opportunities.
James River Business Center
The James River Business Center is currently home to several successful commercial and industrial businesses. These businesses enjoy quick access to the James River Freeway and Interstate 44 from State Highway MM. Various size lots are final platted and infrastructure is available to support a wide range of proposals.
Trogden Industrial Park Site
This site is comprised of approximately 90 acres and was previously pre-designed for a business/industrial park. The site enjoys immediate access to public infrastructure with capacity to support a wide range of uses and proposals for development.
